This is a 2018 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured, part of a tiny PSL (Pre-Sold Limited) run reportedly consisting of just five guitars made to this spec. And among that elite handful, this one stands out with what may be the most visually striking top of the bunch—a wildly figured, high-grade curly maple cap finished in the gorgeous and rare Faded Flannel.

It’s loaded with not one, not two, but three Custom Soapbar P-90s—delivering everything from chimey, bell-like cleans to rich, mid-forward snarl.
