This S2 Wood Library Select Custom 24-08 Limited Edition features a stunning Poplar Burl top in Black Gold Burst, paired with a Mahogany back, Mahogany neck, and East Indian Rosewood fingerboard. It's easily one of the most impressive wood combinations we've seen on an S2, bringing a level of visual sophistication typically associated with instruments considerably further up the PRS lineup. Limited to just 150 guitars worldwide, with only 6 allocated to Canada, this is an exceptionally rare opportunity to own something truly special.

The Poplar Burl top is the star of the show, with its intricate, swirling grain patterns and incredible natural character. Black Gold Burst complements the figuring beautifully, while the satin finish, Smoked Black hardware, and ivory Old School Bird inlays give the entire instrument a distinctive, understated elegance. The wood selection and overall aesthetic are unlike anything we're accustomed to seeing from the S2 series, and that's precisely what makes this limited run so exciting.

Underneath that remarkable top is everything that makes the Custom 24-08 such a versatile instrument. A Pattern Thin Mahogany neck, 25" scale length, and 24 frets provide the familiar PRS playing experience, while a pair of PRS TCI pickups and two mini toggle switches offer eight distinct pickup configurations. Add the PRS Patented Tremolo and Phase III locking tuners, and you've got a thoroughly modern, performance driven instrument with the looks of a boutique custom build.

The Wood Library treatment, the versatility of a Custom 24-08, and a worldwide production run of only 150 instruments. For the money, this is one of the most compelling limited edition guitars we've seen from PRS, and with only six coming to Canada, opportunities to own one will be extremely limited.

<th
