PRS selected an \u003cstrong\u003eArtist Grade figured maple top\u003c\/strong\u003e, and the figuring is incredibly unique, with tight, chaotic movement running across virtually the entire surface. The deep red finish absolutely explodes over the maple before falling into near black around the perimeter. Paired with the natural mahogany back, ebony and figured maple fingerboard, clear lampshade knobs and nickel hardware, there is a ton going on visually without taking away from what makes a Custom 24 unmistakably PRS.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUnderneath all of that is the guitar that helped define PRS. You get the classic \u003cstrong\u003e25 inch scale, 24 frets and Pattern Thin mahogany neck\u003c\/strong\u003e, along with a Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons.
